Ce r\u00e9seau se compose de plus de 80 personnalit\u00e9s issues de cercles m\u00e9dicaux et \u00e9conomiques, d\u2019organisations de patients, de compagnies d\u2019assurance, ainsi que d\u2019hommes et femmes politiques. Le but est de lancer une strat\u00e9gie nationale visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les cons\u00e9quences des h\u00e9patites et \u00e0 emp\u00eacher les nouvelles infections.<br>La vision de la strat\u00e9gie nationale contre l\u2019h\u00e9patite est d\u2019\u00e9radiquer l\u2019h\u00e9patite virale dans les 15 prochaines ann\u00e9es. \u00c0 cet effet, ce n\u2019est pas la recherche qui doit \u00eatre au premier plan, mais le diagnostic. En effet, une bonne partie des personnes atteintes ne sont pas au courant de leur infection et risquent donc de la transmettre sans le savoir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Grandes \u00e9tapes du traitement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>400 av. J.-C.: les r\u00e9cits de patients atteints de jaunisse remontent \u00e0 la Gr\u00e8ce antique. Hippocrate parle d\u2019une \u00e9pid\u00e9mie de jaunisse dont de nombreux patients moururent en l\u2019espace de deux semaines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1947: le m\u00e9decin britannique F. O. MacCallum diff\u00e9rencie pour la premi\u00e8re fois les virus de l\u2019h\u00e9patite A et B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1969: d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un vaccin contre l\u2019h\u00e9patite B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1989: d\u00e9couverte du virus de l\u2019h\u00e9patite C. D\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es 1970, les scientifiques \u00e9taient convaincus qu\u2019il devait y avoir un tel type de virus.
