Certaines personnes, en particulier de plus de 40 ans, ont effectivement contract\u00e9 la maladie de cette mani\u00e8re. Mais il y a encore bien d\u2019autres voies de contamination, par exemple les transfusions sanguines. Dans les ann\u00e9es 80, nombre d\u2019h\u00e9mophiles ont ainsi contract\u00e9 le virus parce qu\u2019on ne le d\u00e9pistait pas encore dans les dons de sang. Aujourd\u2019hui, ce risque n\u2019existe plus, mais d\u2019autres sont apparus, par exemple les studios de tatouage lorsque les tatoueurs ne sont pas assez stricts sur l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne de leurs instruments de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La famille des virus de l\u2019h\u00e9patite compte cinq membres, de A \u00e0 E, tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents les uns des autres: certains sont inoffensifs, d\u2019autres peuvent causer des maladies mortelles. Certains restent silencieux pendant des ann\u00e9es dans l\u2019organisme avant que les premiers sympt\u00f4mes ne se fassent sentir, d\u2019autres d\u00e9clenchent la maladie en l\u2019espace de quelques jours.
